About Frau JaworskiFrau Jaworski loves sharing her love for language learning with her students and boasts a successful German program producing students who excel in speaking, writing, reading and understanding German. German learning at Kealing goes beyond the classroom. Students have the opportunity to participate in regional and state language competitions, the National German Exam, and field trips. Students will eventually be able to take part in a 3 week exchange trip to Berlin, Germany. In addition, German Club activities such as film viewings, German-speaking potlucks, cultural fairs, volunteering at the German Texas Heritage Society, and many more are available to interested students. In her free time, Frau Jaworski loves spending time with her eight-year old son, Noah, playing soccer, tennis, and volleyball, listening to music, hanging out with friends, painting, reading, and watching movies. Frau Jaworski will also be coaching girls' soccer for Kealing this year. |

Frau Jaworski has been teaching German at both LASA High School and Kealing Middle School since 2002. Starting in the fall of 2016 she will be full time at Kealing teaching German 1a, 1b and magnet mentoring classes.

Frau Jaworski grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and graduated from Creighton University in 1997 with a major in German and secondary teacher certification. She studied abroad at the Eberhard Karlsbad University in Tuebingen. She also attended the Deutsche Sommerschule am Atlantik at the University of Rhode Island and completed graduate coursework at the University of Florida. Upon graduation, she taught German at Andersen Middle School in Omaha, Nebraska for two years.
After receiving a Fulbright scholarship in 1999, she moved to Berlin, Germany where she taught English at the Johann-Gottfried-Herder-Gymansium. She remained in Berlin for two more years and continued to teach English at the high school and adult learning levels. She also taught in a bilingual Kindergarten called Berlin Kids International.After three years in Berlin, she found herself in Ausin. |
